Ok so MC's "bad with plants" from how it's desribed by you("she kills plants with her touch" and stuff) it seems that (no mater if author intended it) that she knows a lot about them because of her dad and brother, but she isn't able to care for them (Basicly her "bad with plants" is actualy "bad at taking care of plants", which doesn't exclude a posibility of her knowing a lot about them; another way to expain it is she is a bad gardener, but she is a good ''cook'', both work with vegitebles and friut but they don't have the same set of skill)

Honestly, i finished the book today and the thing that got me most dissatisfied is the ending. I know zhat its ambiguous, but for me it read as if they're definitely dead. Which kinda sends the message, taht the community is actually right because without it you'll suffer and die.

ill just say this here: when i first read red queen (haha read red), i made a character who was also named Shade, and though i tried, it was difficult to separate this unrelated Shade from my OC and getting to the part where mare found out Shade had been “executed” broke me a bit. Probably the most emotional I felt reading this book.

I've never read this series. This has not made me want to. XD

While I didn't get past the first book, I do admire the author making a kid protagonist into a deliberately morally gray character. It's really not something that many have done and it makes the series stand out in a good way.

If it wasn't for the plagiarism stuff and other questionable things from the author herself, I'd be okay trying a series like this, even if it's not the best written. However, those kinds of issues make me skip right by if I know them ahead of time. I've already got tons of stuff to read; why give time to authors who I find morally questionable for concrete reasons?

I disagree with boring being better than stupid. Stupid is memorable and funny. Boring is forgettable and not even worth looking at.

While I haven't read it myself, New Moon seems to be hot garbage outside of one part. Bella being in a stupor over Edward leaving was dumb, sure, but the use of blank pages to show time passing while she's basically comatose was really well done IMO.

Exactly how much variance one is willing to put up with is entirely up to each of us - some might even enjoy a completely flat probability distribution for outcomes. It's literally just a matter of opinion the commenters can't stomach, because they don't like it when anyone belittles their baby. I don't agree with all the preferences he's got, but I for one think the game is still perfectly mediocre - and I mean that in the true sense, I don't think it's bad, but I definitely don't think it's good. At 28:50, Marcus Cain is is kinda interesting as a name because in the Netflix show "Lucifer", the main villain of season 3 is Cain from the bible, who's mark makes him immortal and so he reinvents himself every few decades. In the present day events, he goes by Marcus Pierce (which I'm only just now realizing Markus is meant as a play on mark, and now I feel dumb). Marcus Pierce and Cain, Marcus Cain. I find that interesting.
